I used Ubuntu for many releases. I will stay with either 10.04 or 10.10. Windows XP has been out for many years (before Gnome 2). It has many common similarities to Gnome 2. It is reasonably easy for a Windows home user to make the transition from XP to Gnome 2 (or even from Win. 7). Not so to Metro, however, and Unity will be just as confusing.
