LiveCycle Designer is a must for creating fillable forms, but is very complex. Not many people actually need to use it and you need Acrobat X to get around the licensing issues if you want to use reader extensions so people can save the file. We have one person here using LiveCycle and there are some odd issues that we have run into that has been causing us problems.
