This is really cool. I had used this feature a lot in college when we had to create assignments and projects every other day. Nice feature

I'm glad you guys found this one useful -- the Styles gallery is efficient and helpful, but users still don't know how to make the most of it! Once you get all your favorite styles moved to the top -- applying styles is a quick click. I advocate styles in most complex documents and I understand why users fight them. The easier they are to apply and maintain, the more users will get out of their use!
How to get the selection of preferred quick styles in any newly created doc? Through its template? I found that the quick style list is not saved with its template, thus opening a new doc based on its template still opens Word's own standard Quick Style list.... sad
And how to get this selection as Quick Styles set in an exisiting document replacing the exisiting ones in that existing doc?
Please explain the difference/relationship between:
- Styles in template
- Quick Style set
- Themes
Quite confusing, even for me who is really trying hard for a long time to understand and to explain to others...

It is quite hard to understand themes and styles. I found tutorials at lynda.com most useful. (I don't work for it in any way.) Finally I learned these concepts.
How to limit the usable styles to a few selected, so less style-savvy colleagues are forced to use only these selected styles, without falling into the trap of using non-approved styles? Through Review>Restrict Editing>Formatting Restrictions ??
Or can I do by deleting all non-approved styles in the template/doc?
