In all things security of communications is paramont. It doesnt matter if it is a personal email, a business document or military communications, the security of the transmission is paramont.
I cannot see being in a war where a potential enemy has control of your communications network as being a good thing. Nor a business situation where you are developing new technology.
There are no guarantees that this would not become a problem. And watching the 60 min show Huawei was doing nothing to dispel that fear. In fact their secrecy was adding to it.
