Why do I need a pocket account to use an offline app? My security warning system is getting a bit taxed.

There are TR members who specifically seek out problems in need of a solution. Although there is some overlap between the forums, you'll find more of those members in 'Q&A' than in 'Discussions' or 'Water Cooler'.

I didn't mean to start, or join, a philosofical discussion.
In your review you completey ignore the question and I really would like to know if there is a technical reason, or is it phishing of some sort.
