Nice technique. Often I want to start page numbering for each section from 1. Is there any way to do that other than going to each section and restarting its number? i.e. I would like to set the numbering to 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2 ... in one place/

But I think you have to do it by section. I know there was no global option in Word 97 (the last version I used in any great amount).
