Do you have another iOS-specific tool for IT professionals to recommend to your peers?
I like Fing, a network scanner that discovers connected devices and displays information abou them, IP Address, MAC address, device/vendor.
I really like the 2x Client for RDP connections. The interface is easy. I use it for remote access to my servers.
I also like Get Console. It has great features for network hardware administration through SSH and Telnet. Additionally there is a hardware adapter that allows me to physically connect to console port. I can configure my Cisco routers and switches without a PC. This is very nice for those campus deployments when lugging around my PC is very tiring

+1 for Fing. It's free (and ADs free) and reports plenty of detail. I find I am using it quite a lot since I installed it.
This is not free but is a must have for any one dealing with Active Directory. Reset Password, Add/Remove Users and other objects, Set account options. Even run a report on Active Directory.
Seems you have a very different definition of FREE to the one I am familiar with.
I like Speedtest HD because full version with low price a better utility i recommend
