This is exactly what puzzles me. The two are so different that nothing can be said from the joint perspective. If I have a Windows 8 Pro, especially upgraded from Windows 7, then I should just wait until something good and Metro appears - I either do not need what is proposed or already have better alternatives. If it is RT, then the advice looks reasonable, but the remote desktop is barely usable. If Remote Desktop is removed, then the advice is a valid "how to start using RT apps" advice.
