Unable to complete Windows 8 upgrade
Well, I found out that the issue is that you can't do an in-place upgrade from 7 Pro to 8 Pro. It's the only one affected. So, since I got all the bugs worked out on a spare computer, I went ahead and did a custom install. All is well in Parkerville. By the way, if anyone is missing the start button on the task bar, you can buy a $4 program that puts it back @ http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/.
