I've heard the gripes regarding W8, but have never had time to investigate in depth.
I have the joy of supporting all levels of user, on various platforms, so always knew I would have to get to grips with W8
So yesterday gave myself a day to install on a laptop (not high spec)
Probably the easiest windows i've installed, yes there are several things that could have been done better, but everythings up and running smoothly, all hardware, programs and apps o.k. Various tweeks done handed over to client, client happy.
I have to admit to quite liking the W8 interface and am somewhat at a loss to understand all the complaints.
