I guess scotth's right, sadly. But still, this entire series of photos is historic, the kind of stuff we never hear about (especially considering I was 4 years old at the time). Great story, guys. Thanks!!

I think that the author should flesh this out and then send it to Wikipedia so that everyone in the English-speaking world would have a chance to read about one pioneer artist.

I looked at wiki but saw from their guidelines that I couldn't submit anything since I'm not the author. Quite all right, mind you, but the world needs to know about her, because her web site is not going to be up for long, now that she is dead.

Someone we might not otherwise have heard-of. A woman of talent and humor. May her memory be blessed!
