You can see by the number of comments, few care about Google+. Hilariously true, there are more Facebooks likes at this time than Googles "+1".
That said, Google+ has a huge uphill battle. Do you go with a social media that is attracting a billion [or close to it] or Google+'s how many?
Bigger question are how many Google+ users are there. If you create a Gmail account, a Google+ account is automatically created. Many don't know this. and so, their information could be landing on their unattended page.
