That part doesn't bother me as much...
as even the crooks sniff all our packets if they become interested in the data source/destination. However - if a telephone line needs a warrant, so does a network cable in my opinion. Wireless non encrypted traffic - all bets are off, and I see no reason to limit anyone's surveillance of that traffic.

My stand is that the government new about 911, but botched getting it to the right reaction force. So they don't need no stinking network surveillance in the first place. They didn't have it before - they don't need it now.
