I don't trust the government to interpret my personal data fairly. There is a long list of falsely imprisoned people in their track record. I don't trust them to keep my personal data private. And once they have it, I don't trust them to only use it for law enforcement purposes instead of using it to manipulate public opinion and voting.

Perhaps I should stop using gmail as my email client. Is there a good free email service outside the US?
