What is your social networking tool of choice these days? Have you changed your tool of choice recently?

I don't really use tools...are you taking about things like hootsuite? Or like apps on Facebook like lists and all?

Hello All,
Well, according to me join some social community sites like facebook, etc. All social community and blogs are well known tools for social networking. Emails are also very widely known tools for social community. Instead of computers, you can also refer mobile and basic phone for your personal social activities.
Do I have an outdated version of Google talk. Because all it can do is chat with your contacts on G+
If this was a "social networking tools" then Live Messenger and Yahoo should have been included Even Skype cause they offer better options than Google Talk you can add facebook chat too. How about Pidgeon you can chat across any social network that has a chat option.

It all sounds good but this tool flat out will not work on Windows 7 64 Ultimate. Acts more like a Windows 95 app that was built with sloppy code.

Gwibber is pre-installed in Ubuntu. If you look at the reviews in Software Center you'll see a long list of gripes and complaints going back almost two years. It truly is pitiful software. It has no access to lists, you can't reply to a tweet, you can't even follow another tweep!

Tweetdeck was wonderful until Twitter bought it and broke it. It's worth hunting round to find one of the pre-Twitter versions. The latest versions are worse than using the web interface at Twitter.com (fancy that!) and will slow you down even if you're only running one account.

Google Talk is too limiting as has already been stated here.

The word 'Free' shouldn't have to be a synonym for 'Unusable'
