Apple releases firmware update to address Thunderbolt issues

Thanks for updating us on the Thunderbolt stuff. My end users had a couple problems with their monitors using Thunderbolt at my last job. It either wouldn't work at all, or they'd have to go through some crazy routine every morning when they plugged back in because the drivers would get screwed up. Hopefully this fixes it for them!

USB3 has beewn around for 3+ years are still hasn't made much inroads. Only now more and more systems are coming with USB3. Only recent Macs include Thunderbolt. Even iPhones use USB connectors - not Thunderbolt.
