The Navy used to have a remote controlled helicopter system that packed a couple torpedoes or depth charges. It could be launched from a surface combatant. I can't find for sure if it was ever launched from a carrier but I would imagine it was. It definitely was launched from smaller boats. When I was in the Navy we were told that it had been discontinued in the late 60s due to instability problems.
