Apple technologies rewrite BYOD landscape

many organisations that face serious loss of business and other difficulties if they accept the BYOD position as it it is at the moment due to the breach in security many BYOD devices create. The Australian Department of Defence Signals Directorate recently issued a paper about many concerns with such matters. Although they concentrated on other issues, they also stated a need to re-evaluate the security issues involved in allowing BYOD.

One issue a lot of people like glossing over in this matter is the corporate responsibility to provide suitable support for the BYOD devices, and the cost of such support.
