I see the first app is ACDSEE.

I don't see a NEXT PAGE button.

When I press the right arrow, it shows me 2 of 18 pictures.

If you think I'm clicking 18 times to read this article, you gotta be kidding.

I know you want clicks, but this is getting crazy?

Where are the other 4 apps and text?
Directly under the first 'ACDSee 15.1' caption is a link to the article in a blog format instead of the slideshow format.
You would see this

This gallery is also available as a post in the Five Apps Blog.

No clicking and it's on 1 page but if you don't want to read it that way and don't want to look at the 18 Slides in the Slide Show I suppose you could always ignore it. wink

Tag&Rename is a great little utility for cleaning up a music library. It's a long-time favorite of mine.

I personally bought Tag&Rename after reading about it here. It has a lot of features that the old Music Match interface had and it is wonderful. Does anyone have any utilities for managing files in your my docs

the first two apps made software i use pop to mind and they're free

ACDSee 15 - seems like Picasa does the same things
Tag&Rename - MediaMonkey does what you described and some + community backed scripts and support. Their beta supports syncing over wi-fi on Androids. I've been using this app for about 6 years now to manage my 70K+ library, can go on and on about features but take a look you'll love it.....WAY better then Itunes and you can backup/import your Ipod/Iphone
The other 2 are ACDsee. but not that new version. Version 2 is by far the best. It is lightweight and very very fast. (Picasa is a bloody system hog)

Tag & Rename .
If you have a huge music collection (Like those of us in the Radio Industry) This thing is a life saver. I can look up, tag, rename files, rename the folder and create playlists all with a couple clicks. With a programmable mouse, I don't even have to touch the keyboard most of the time.

Organize THIS

If the author wishes to get better organized, he could start by telling whoever is responsible for breaking up these articles into hard to find bits - to stop doing it.

This entire format/layout should be used in a first year web design class as what NOT to make your site like. It is ashamed that a professional website has such a poor layout for feature stories.

btw.. Infranview is much better than ACDSEE.
Who would guess to select the images to go to the next articles as many pics are for same article.

Am really surprised the editors have not responded to these comments at least by working on the format of this article presentation!
If you look at the first page of this Slideshow the very first line has a link to a Single Page copy of this Slideshow.

Seems that the more things change the more that they stay the same and that people comprehend even less of what it is that they are reading and instead want to complain as much as possible.

The simple thing here is if you are one of the people who do not like Slide Shows don't look at them use the alternative and don't complain in a thread that you really don't want to be in to begin with.

- it should be a capital offense
Poor Reading Comprehension is really a adverse sign of just how bad the Education System actually is when people can read and not see the blatantly obvious. Offering Options is what should be happening and what I find amusing is that by offering the options so many complain and prove that they are unable to comprehend the most basic and simple things. wink
