And I really mean Business Killer! Rackspace should ditch that name ASAP. I know that they have lost business because of it. C level executives who made the final decision ruled out Rackspace as a Supplier because of it. In one case the middle level management wanted to go Rackspace and they made a case but the Board level killed them off as a potential provider for a 6M contract. Another major Global Player called the strategy 'childish' and refused to even meet with them. As consultants my partner and I told them quietly why they lost the bids but they just ignored us. Obviously the marketing folks rule the roost. Notice that many companies do realise that their brilliant marketing pitch is loosing them business, see 'GoCompare' and the opera singer, they have seen what the public thought and in their latest adverts they do what the public wanted to do to their singer. Rackspace should get Stephen Hawking to suck 'Fanatical Support' into a black hole! Just the words mind we still want them to keep great support.

Very nicely written. Rackspace is the best player in town whether we talk about low rates, high level security, services and other add-ons etc., Rackspace proved themselves to be the best and major player in all the niches of cloud. And i believe it will take the lead in 2013 as well.
