Ubuntu Linux 12.10 is "Quantal Quetzal." The u got lost in your article.
That the typo got through because the writer's spellcheck was thinking of "QANTAS"
So, will this tiny linux run (well) on my aging Samsung NP-Q1?

I still use "the first tablet" for GPS moving map applications (Garmin Maps) in the car or (APIC Glass) the airplane. Sadly, the low screen resolution will not be fixed by a new OS. Web browsing will always suffer on this device because the main stream web content providers assume at least a 1024x768 display, which was beyond reach when these devices came to market.
I haven't heard of this distro before but on the PicUntu link posted in this article it reads

"Based on Ubuntu Qantal 12.10".....

Post you complaints here: http://ubuntu.g8.net/index.php/picuntu-features
