You shouldn't need to partition lots of discs.

Surely you get one hard drive right, make an image of it, and then all new systems are made from the image?

As for what the article doesn't mention, it is so light that one wonders if the writer has ever had to partition a disc. Certainly wouldn't call it a "comprehensive review".
