Charlie is spot on - I spent 20 years in the Army and you know based on years of service and pay grade what anyone made (pay is never an issue or a discussion - one less thing to worry about). Since I have been out I have seen more inequity in pay than I care to admit to - but then again the private sector doesn't understand that as well as the military, in my opinion - as well as many other aspects of team, leadership, integrity, work ethic, etc.
