While these views seem very familiar with the day-to-day challenges IT Administration is facing, it raises more complex strategies required for data security and duplication.
Sure, lose the cap ex of a new hardware device, and lose the need for ROI but how do you ensure each user password protects the device so that company data (contacts, messages, emails, app subscriptions etc) is not accessible to the rest of the world?
Business usually likes to control transparency don't they?
