while politicians from Obama to Romney all say we need more educated tech workers (sources: Techcrunch, others)...
Meanwhile, about needing more MBAs and business professionals, comes this sadly relevant tangent:

Still, we can outsource everything STEM, then say we need more STEM workers, but then wonder why nobody's going to bother with anything except more management diplomas.
Remember the old phrase, "too many chefs and not enough cooks"...
Still, we also put money into retirement plans (401ks) that are put into systems where people are told "Don't afford to invest what you can't afford to lose". It's a funny old world...

This article is philosophy and not based on any proven evidence. Network infrastructure is evolving, but rarely do service providers give complete flexibility, better customer service, and cost less than in house IT. When it's IT departments that are implementing technology, it will be IT departments that leverage it to work with their environment; not MBA's.
what Bob saying is, your ceo/cio got duped into buying some "service/software/app" they have no idea what it does or how to implement it. So logically lets replace the IT staff and hire MBA's and hope deal with it??????????
IT jobs in future will be more and ore difficult and it will always be a new evolution.
