While you should not run more than one anti-virus, MBAM is not a traditional anti-virus. It will run just fine with the likes of Eset, Avast, etc.with no "havoc".
Combofix is not meant to be run "every so often". There's no reason to run it unless you suspect you are infected. If you are not an experienced user, run it only at the request of someone helping you clean you system like bleeping computer, or the forums at Malwarebyte's
