From my personal experience, Ubuntu is about 10x heavier then Windows 7, let alone Windows 8.

Most Linux distro's that support that kind of hardware
are too minimalistic for the average user.
From my personal experience, Ubuntu is about 10x heavier then Windows 7, let alone Windows 8.
