Hi I am trying to access my server via the internet, but every so often my ip address changes, is it possible to set the ip address to a static ip and how, this is connecting via the internet, I know how to set it locally eg 10.0.0.2 but thats to connect locally, i need internet access.
I access : \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xx\folder name.....it will work fine for a few days then the ip address changes and i need to use the new ip address, i would like to know is it possible for this ip address to remain the same (static), thank you.
