I just wanted to say thanks for your articles Greg. I always find them useful and this one was no different. I haven;t played with WIndows 8 much yet so didn't know about the changes from Windows 7. I'm particularly glad the option to restore the OS without losing files and data is back. A repair install was fantastic in Windows XP - the change in Vista so you could only do a repair by first booting into the OS was a major step backwards.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks. The nature of your articles is that there's often not much to comment on, but please don't take that to mean they're not useful.
