Usually the other way round as well. I've "found" (usually during a free lunch) this suite of components, if (meaning when) we use it we'll save loads of coding time.
Coder boys says no we won't we'll spend it all trying to make the components in the suite do what we want.
He will be ignored though, as he's a mere underling...
