These are absolutely things that we've learned in our previous SaaS ventures, but especially since we've been working on our latest product: JobNimbus (http://www.jobnimbus.com), which is a CRM software.
Having an SaaS solution has allowed us to be nimbler than ever, being able to focus on more immediate needs while fleshing out long-term features, and being able to jump on any bugs as they come out. Our customers have loved the experience because we try to cater directly to them and their needs before satisfying our own.
Our goal is to build the simplest CRM software that we can, and that means not only taking time to think things through before adding them rashly, but also trying to understand the real needs of our customers and seeing if we can provide a better solution that will help them be more productive.
It's been a blast and keeps us on our toes every day. We're excited to log in every morning and love the challenges it presents.
