hi friends,

I am trying to develope a wide area network emulator..for which I need the source code for NETEM..can anyone tell me where i can have the source code with packeges..I got one code but its does not look sufficient..i didnot find the main function in that code..please reply and help me..thank you..

NETEM is part of the Linux kernel, so you can find that wherever your preferred Linux distro is stored and/or kernel.org. You might want to start by looking at the iproute2 package, which is the user-mode tools.

However, I will also suggest that NETEM might not be what you want. What it "emulates" is not so much network topology as particular network conditions (shaping, packet delay/loss, traffic priorities, etc). You still need real network interfaces (hardware and/or software) on the box to use it.
