I'm getting MONTHLY email requests to verify that I want to keep receiving the newsletters to which I'm subscribed.

It's freaking overkill.

I already unsubscribed from everything. All the newsletters got to be too much (not just from this site but a others as well).

My Inbox thanks me (as well as my sanity)

That stopped, thankfully.

It's to do with site upgrades in Spam Prevention and it's all your fault.

I also understand that those asked to approach certain issues have been singled out for Special Attention.

See if like me you are just a Dummy and know nothing I don't get inflicted with stuff like that.

Personally It's not something I've seen yet but it may be related to some sort of Alphabetic Listing where a certain range of Letters in your Name are targeted.

I also noticed the mention of Boxxie at CES so what else have you been up to.

as that is how it is judged to tell if you are still active within that NL?

Though I don't think they are suppose to come monthly for the same NL (these are for the same exact NL and not idfferent ones?)

Dunno if for the same or different. I got so annoyed with them I charged Outlook to move them automatically to the Junk folder. If different, y'all need to combine them into one. Please.
