What inspired this rant was a legacy application. The app has a built-in method of rerouting the Alt-Print Screen key sequence directly to the printer. It worked in XP, but now in W7 it give an error about not being able to access the Clipboard. (It probably used the now-missing clipbrd.exe.) That doesn't surprise me, but I don't look forward to teaching how to copy and paste a screenshot to this dear but computer illiterate lady of an a Very Advanced Age. Next week I'll try XP compatibility or copying clipbrd from an XP system.
