Turns out, the latest anti-science trend in dealing with Autism is giving the kids an ominously named "Miracle Mineral Solution".

The thing is, the main ingredient in that stuff is a chlorite. When it gets into contact with an acid (like what the stomach is full of) it turns into the same exact stuff that we know as bleach.
Seriously? I understand that people are desperate, but BLEACH?!?
And those kids, having autism, aren't even able to plead for help or express their pain and suffering.
