Finally someone thinks the alphabet soup of names and touting of 50 different certs are impressive things or indicative of true IT talent or expertise...I thought I was alone in that opinion. I also have an alphabet soup I could write out to "impress" but why bother? I can do my job and I do it well. That's what I pride myself on, not pieces of paper. I'm more impressed (besides demonstration of experience of course) by someone with a single Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/IT than someone with two pages of certs.

Btw I got my MCSE because of the politics of the time. The face value of the industry was _ ooh hire someone with the paper. I was DOING MCSE duties long before I studied one page for my MCSE cert however.
