Do MCSE frauds belong in Jail?: I'm not up on American law but in the UK an employer could possibly go all the way if they wanted to. I'm not sure how far they would get in prosecuting the person as this is still a grey area.

I think that if a person lies that seriously in order to get a job, surely that's theft and deception or fraudulantly obtaining money. If that person damages their employers IT system because they lack the knowledge they profess to have, that could perhaps be classedas criminal damage.

I'm not an MCSE but if I was and someone in my company who claimed they were also but were in fact not, and managed to get a job along side me or even above me, I would be extremely 'hot under the collar'.

Force them to study for an MCSE making them believe they have a second chance, but do not let them sit the final exam! Then give them a criminal record - see how they like them apples!
