Report Offensive Message

Would any body clearify what exactly the Internet Router is. Is it the machine with two NIC's or is it your ISP's Router. This relates to this excerpt from the arthcle:
"During installation, you should choose to statically assign IP addresses. You'll need to set up one network card with a true Internet IP address and the default gateway of your Internet router." My question what do you set as your default gateway on the WAN side of the Win2000 Multi Homed machine?
