Like many people, I can't tell you how many times I've installed Win98, Win2k and Win98/Win2K systems but I just ran into a new roadblock.
I have a machine with Win98 on C (Fat32-4GB) and installed Win2K on drive D (Fat32-4BG) that was partitionedwith Partition Magic 4 about 6 months ago. The win98 works just fine but the file structure on the Win2K is very strange. In explorer it "mixes" the directories with the files. This happens with all types of sorts (type, name, size, etc) and most programs will not install on the system and say this or that file can not be found or replaced. The worst part is that I have had Win2K on this system before (after I had partitioned with PM 4). any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You could try converting your drive D to NTFS. Leave C as FAT32.
