I heard wireless lan had security loophole. Is it safe ? If we put in other software secure it would be to be more cost effective to have structure cable.
This article wastes more space telling me how wiring doesn't work than how wireless does. Given that there are potential security problems, bandwidth limitations and the (not mentioned) distance and intervening object limitations, wouldn't it have been more helpful to have been specific about where wireless does fit?
Dear Mary,
The Author covered the Topic. If you want security more than just the distance limitations, cover your work area with light weight copper screening. It will keep inside signals in and outside signals out. They use copper screen in windowsto abate the sun's heating effect. As for bandwidth use more transmiters/receivers with different IPs in those isolated rooms.
regards
Frank
