rational decisions only
I suppose the best thing for everyone to do is to be realistic. In this fabulous world of ours, we often make our decisions in the wrong manner. There should be no question of which OS is the *right* OS for everyone. Granted, an organization should have an enterprise-wide OS and the staff to support it, however, that doesn't mean other options cannot be explored. Ideally, we should all find the OS that fits into our enterprise, and not just because it is the standard (ie. adding a w2k server to existing w2k network). We should be exploring all of our options and deciding the best one that fits our enterprise. Treat it like hiring a new IT Manager.... food for thought...
