About time someone said it!
One of the reasons why Linux is not susceptible to viruses is that the bulk, maybe 99% are either executable, com, scr or any other format that can be easily opened on a Windows platform. Unless you are running wine, none of those executable files will launch on the lInux systems. Additionally, Windows servers can be just as difficult and in fact maybe more difficult to configure and administer than Linux. I am speaking from a level of an Intermediate Admin. I do not know a lot of Linux, but configuring switches and routers from the command line lets me accomplish lots of things that could not be configured from the gui. Another thing is that you can set up many Linux file and print servers and ftp servers for internal use and reduce the cost because maintenance is low with these servers,
