Since one of my sites uses ColdFusion, we looked at PropWeb three different times over the course of a year and a half. (That's been about 2yrs ago now). Each time we installed this product, it would not work. Some pages would load, some wouldn't. Database updates may or may not work. We were able to get it running after decrypting their ColdFusion code and fixing the errors. For instance, a script runs to create the SQL database and all the bits that go with it; the script was flawed, leaving a database that didn't work. Each time we tried to explain the problems we had, the reply was along the lines of "well, it works here...". We finally gave up on the product. Maybe it's improved since then.

Hi,I am using a demo version of Outlook Helpdesk 3.0 by Crow Canyon (www.crowcayon.com).It installs in a Public folder in Outlook. My users double click the help desk folder and input their info. It automactiaclly pulls info from Exchange about the location and user info. Users can use pull down windows to descrivbe the product. It caome in my email ans then I assign it. You can keep a log and update the user when you add to it via email by checking a box. It also has a knowledge base you can create from trouble tickets. I am the network admin for 50 users in 2 offices at a CPA firm and I needed to get my troubleshooting under control so I can work on bigger projects. This software is allowing me to be more efficient and to keepmy users informed. The demo is for 45 days and is made to work soley with Outlook. Very inexpensive help desk solution.thanks, Rob
