Training Workshops
I run my own small business and was asked on a couple of occasions would I show people how to use their computer. I charge ?40 for a morning one on one idiot's guide to computing. Running from 9:30 to 12:00. I also include coffee. Depending on how quickly we get on, remembering that I am only teaching the absolute essentials here I answer any specific questions on particular programs. Thats great and the sessions work really well, in fact there's a lot of laughing but I find people here inthe UK are not prepared to pay for lessons and there hasn't been much call for more sessions. But one-on-one training has other advantages for friends, I trained one friend how to word process and generally get around her computer, result - better job, better pay, happier friend, I feel great. There's more to life really and I'm happy to help out. Maybe advertising would be a good route - must try it sometime!
