I was taught the golden rule, and it has worked well for me. If I recall most people were taught it when they was but a wee lad or lassee, sitting on their parents knees. "Treat others as you would want to be treated." - In English - Respect the other person for Who They are (Integraty), the Job they Do (Work ethics), The Skills they have..

If you hire the best available for the job - whether they be white, black, enabled, gay, straight, male, female, american, british - Whatever - and respect that employee, it works 100% of the time.

Just as you would want to be Respected for your skills, knowledge and ethics... the job is much easier right.
