I find that managers overall are clueless dolts that only hinder production. More often than not, they don't understand what they are supposed to be managing, thus they think: Whatever they don't understand must be easy. Lacking the most basic skills both technical and social, and achieving their position by brown-nosing.
In addition they are quick to assign blame but more than willing to take credit which is undeserved.
