Excellent information
I have been doing problem and change management for most of the 24 years I have been in IT, and when I first encountered ITIL, I was struck with how well it represented my actual knowledge and experience in these areas.

The disciplines contained in the ITIL are very useful and it is not a question of whether you implement them, but only how well you do it. No data center is really mature unless they have succeeded in implementing these practices, and the ITIL framework is an excellent place to start. I have also reviewed some of the MOF documentation, and agree that it is a very useful extension of the ITIL framework.
