don't mix those up
subnet mask and wildcard mask are 2 different things, therefor wildcardmasks or AC(cess)L(ist) masks are not in place here


subnet(masks)s just divide networks in subnetworkgroups

wildcardsmasks are potential 'pointed' ip ranges used in access lists to apply specific rules to

instead of 255.255.255.0(subnetmask) you get 0.0.0.255(wildcardmask) for example, both are cisco related but on anorher level of the router device
