Wife and I have used VM ware in our home computers for several years. We have MS XPpro for basic operating system which calls the complete DOS 6.22 when desired - quite often. I also was able to play around with a couple versions of Linux (which I never cared for). complete manual for VM ware was printed out before initial installation. Have had no problems attribuable to VM use.
