        <title><![CDATA[Configuration?]]></title>

        <description><![CDATA[I would be interested to see what the configuration looks like on your core router. Our network is very similar to what you described for your &quot;before&quot; configuration, with nearly 50 remote sites connecting via frame-relay to one of two 3640-Series Cisco routers at the core in a hub &amp; spoke fashion. The bandwidth to the remote sites, however, is much greater with the majority of sites linked at 512K and above, many at 1Mb. At the core we have 5 T1 ports terminated on each router with the PVC's (more or less) equally spread across the ports based on prot to PVC subscription rates. Additionally, my network supports dozens of users at each location and carries traffic for Internet browsing, Exchange, Thin-Client and file shares back to the core. CPU utilization on the core routers has never been a problem, which makes me wonder what other functions may be running to place such a high load on the router in your example.
